Cure your late night insomnia, come along and join us for some Midnight Dragon Slaying! This will be a fun, memorable, and especially kool time for sober and alert night-owls to stay up late and Wake the Dragon!
Meet us at the General Store at Fontana Village Saturday night, May 1st at 11:00pm. We will depart Fontana at 11:15pm to zip down Hwy 28 to the Crossroads of Time (Deal's Gap) for a short break. Folks staying in Robbinsville may meet the larger group at Deal's Gap parking lot around 11:45pm.
One minute after 11:59pm on Saturday, the clock strikes 12:00, the rally lights
come on, and Dragon Slaying will begin. We will run up US-129 past the overlook to the gravel parking lot near Tabcat Bridge, enjoy the stars and moonlight for a bit, and then motor on back to our cozy beds.
