The Drive: The Groom and the wedding party will lead a spirited drive from the General Store Parking Lot at Fontana Village down the Tail of the Dragon, and proceeding on to the large paved lot about 2.5 miles past the end of the Dragon. Those MOTD folks who would like to stay and witness the ceremony may park in the paved lot and gather around the deck.
The Ceremony: Their wedding song, written by a dear friend (author Ken Churilla), will play as The Bride walks down the “aisle”. The ceremony will then consist of a blessing by our minister (Presbyterian), a reading by the Matron of Honor, the exchanging of vows, and the declaration of marriage. It should take about 30 minutes. We would love to get photos of us surrounded by as many MINIs (and Minis) as possible, so stick around for a few minutes if you can!
