This drive is a 40 mile one way driving and photography tour that will take us from Stecoah to Robbinsville on a combination of twisty scenic back roads and Hwys 28 and 143 with stops at Stecoah Arts and Crafts, Bee Global, Yellow Branch Pottery, and 9 out of 15 barns on the Graham County Quilt Trail. We will end the drive at The Hub restaurant in Robbinsville for lunch and to show off our photos.
Meet at Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center @ 10 am on Thursday 30 April 2015. In addition to arts and crafts from local artisans, coffee and pastries are offered for purchase in the café and public restrooms are available. I am starting this drive at Stecoah instead of Fontana. It is an easy drive to Stecoah from Robbinsville or Bryson City as well as Fontana and you can even either sleep in or do a sunrise drive on the Dragon before this fun drive. Large signs on Hwy 28 in Stecoah Valley point to the Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center located in the old historic schoolhouse.
