Pay for your own lunch.This will be a spirited run down the Hellbender, to the lower Dragon and then into Santeetlah on US 129 before taking 143 to the Cherohala Skyway. The Skyway takes us to Tellico Plains, TN where we will stop for lunch at the Tellico Grains Bakery, a local artisan bakery with great sandwiches, woodfire pizzas and baked goods. After lunch we will go back across the Cherohala and into Robbinsville so everyone can gas up for their next adventure before returning to Fontana Village. On the way back, anyone who wants to stop at one of the scenic overlooks is welcome to break off from the group. Hooper Bald is one nice place to stop. Please remember to bring radios for this trip
